Can't Miss Talent will never ask you for money, bank details, or identity documents before a job offer is made and accepted.
Why this page exists
Criminals impersonate staffing and search firms to defraud people looking for work. They copy real firms' names, logos, and staff identities, then run fake interviews over chat apps and ask for payment or bank details. This is common enough across the industry that every major staffing firm publishes a page like this one.
What we will never do
- Ask you to pay us anything, at any stage, for any reason. Our fee is always paid by the hiring company.
- Ask for your bank account or routing details before you have accepted a written offer from an employer.
- Ask you to buy equipment, gift cards, or software and be reimbursed later.
- Ask for a photograph of your passport, driver's license, or Social Security card during screening.
- Conduct an entire hiring process over WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or Google Chat with no phone or video call.
- Send an offer for a job you never applied to and never interviewed for.
- Pressure you to decide within hours.
How to verify a message is really from us
List every legitimate channel: the exact email domain(s) CMT sends from, the official website domain, the LinkedIn company page URL, and the official phone number. Then state that anything from a different domain is not from Can't Miss Talent. This list is the whole value of the page — it has to be specific.
If you are unsure about any message, do not reply to it. Contact us through the details on this site instead and ask.
If you think you have been targeted
- Stop communicating and do not send money or documents.
- Tell us at anna@cantmisstalent.com so we can report the impersonation.
- Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and to the FBI's IC3 at ic3.gov.
- If you sent bank details, contact your bank immediately.
You have not done anything wrong by being targeted, and telling us costs you nothing.
